What better way to learn spanish than to learn spanish in Mexico? Can’t think of a better way. Immerse yourself in the food, the culture, the life, and you will HAVE to learn spanish quickly.
I’ve always wanted to live and to learn spanish in Mexico. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine. Someday maybe I’ll get to do it. In the meantime, I’ve done quite a bit of research on spanish language schools in Mexcio, spanish immersion in Mexico, etc.
I’ll share a little bit of that with you here. Where are the best schools? What cities might you want to live in? Mexico itself is a diverse, laid-back, colorful culture. It’s extremely artistic and independent–in politics, in the people themselves.
Mexico is beyond a doubt one of the most interesting places to learn to speak spanish. By totally immersing yourself in the culture (and the food!) there is no better way to learn spanish faster. Not only is the land beautiful, the history is fascinating.
Want to Learn Spanish from Home?
Mexico City, in and of itself, is pretty amazing. It’s huge! Over 20 million people live there, and it’s the second largest city in the world. To be overwhelmed by Mexico, study here. You’ll find Aztec pyramids, amazing art, wonderful restaurants, excellent museums, ancient colonial homes, etc.
From here you can make side trips just outside of Mexico City. The pyramids of Teotihuacan are a good place to start–they are one of the most important archeological discoveries in Latin America.
But all in all, Mexico as a whole offers the best language schools around, and lots of them are in smaller cities and communities that would offer lots of smaller classes in more personal settings.
Some are on the coastlines, at the beach cities, where the beaches are some of the most beautiful you’ve ever seen. It would be very easy to get lost in the local peoples.
