Spanish Learning Games
Perhaps one of the best ways to learn spanish is through spanish learning games. No kidding–because it’s fun! There’s enough hard and serious ways to learn in the world. The best way to make a language stick is by having fun.
I’ve found that lots of people are looking for spanish learning games these days. It’s become the hot new thing. (Along with learn spanish podcasts!). We’re all looking for new ways to learn things, with new tools to help us do that.
So what’s in a learn spanish game? I would say that the number one thing to look for is–is it interactive? You want to be able participate in the learning. Look at a picture, see the word, hear the word, say the word. Next step–combine words into phrases. After that–combine phrases into sentences. Spanish learning games help you do that.

GAME 1: MegaVocab Software Learning Game – This game helps you to remember tons of words. No need for books because in this game you see the words written. It helps you to build words. Build up the number of spanish words in your vocabulary with this simple-to-use word recall game.

GAME 2: MegaAudio Software Learning Game – This game helps you to understand and recognize the sounds of the spoken language quickly. You choose a topic like television or sports or ordering in restaurants. MegaAudio chooses 20 random words on your chosen topic. When you hear that word spoken, then choose a picture to go with it.
The game keeps score, so the object, obviously, is to get a higher and higher score. This game helps you to understand the spoken language better, when you hear it.
GAME 3: MegaVerb Software Learning Game – This game is specifically designed for those spanish students who want to advance quickly in the spanish learning games area. Conjugating verbs can be one of the hardest areas of learning spanish.
This game is a wonderful aid in understanding how spanish verbs change so often depending on the context and also the tense. It makes memorization easier and hopefully less painful. It’s kinda neat–you get 4 chances to translate a random verb. Points are added up, and each time you try to get a higher and higher score.
Spanish learning games are my favorite part of learning spanish. What sold me is how interactive these games are. I just don’t get to watch the game, I have to participate. If it weren’t for having fun while learning, I don’t know if I could keep up the program. These games certainly make the process a lot easier and faster to learn.
